In 2013 a friend approached me about joining her team and becoming a Travel Agent. I admit I was hesitant at first….yes, I love to travel, but I knew nothing about booking vacations for others. My main question for my friend was “why would anyone use or need a Travel Agent?” Well, much to my surprise there are many reasons people contact Travel Agencies! I said “yes” and jumped in with both feet.

My association with Kensington Traveler Services for the past 12 years has been so rewarding. Working to customize a trip for someone, whether it be a family vacation, destination wedding, “girls’ trip”, group adventure or solo travel has been a true labor of love. Wonderful people going wonderful, exciting places!

As for my own travel…… I LOVE cruising! When I board a cruise ship I “leave the world behind.” Unpack one time, explore the ship, and make spa appointments is always the first on my agenda. After that….total relaxation!

My all-time favorite cruise was a Family and Friends Group we took on an Alaska Cruise Tour. Alaska is such a unique blend of majestic mountains, glaciers, and wildlife! I also enjoyed catching a few salmon and halibut!

Cruising to warmer climates is always fun too---with Bahamas and Curacao being my favorite island destinations.
