In 2013 a friend approached me about joining her team and becoming a Travel
Agent. I admit I was hesitant at first….yes, I love to travel, but I knew nothing
about booking vacations for others. The main question I asked was “why would anyone use or need a Travel Agent?” After finding over 20 different reasons a travel agent is helpful and in some cases an absolute must– I said “yes” and jumped into this adventure with both feet.
My association with Kensington Traveler Services for the past 12 years has been
so rewarding. Working to customize a trip for someone, whether it be a family
vacation, destination wedding, “girls’ trip”, group adventure or solo travel has
been a true labor of love. Wonderful people going to wonderful, exciting places!
As for my own travel…… I enjoy cruising! My all-time favorite was a Family and
Friends Group cruise we took to Alaska. Alaska is such a unique blend of
majestic mountains, glaciers, and wildlife- and our trips to Alaska have never disappointed! I also enjoyed catching a few salmon and halibut!
Another favorite cruising spot is to warmer climates---Bahamas and
Curacao were some of my favorite spots.
In Dr. Seuss’ most famous book, Oh, the Places You’ll Go, he states,
“Life is a journey and let’s “GO TO GREAT PLACES” and “BE OFF AND AWAY!”
For a lifetime of memorable trips, whether with friends or family- I would love to work with you to make that happen!
